விளக்கம்

Join us for Woven Together, a free evening exploring fashion, sustainability, culture and community as part of Inter Faith Week.

The evening will feature a documentary screening presented by Kerry from Project Fashion Fixed, followed by a Q&A exploring the impact of fast fashion on our climate and cultures.

Zaib will share findings from her research into suitable fabrics for hijabs for women experiencing cancer, offering insight into the relationship between clothing, health, faith and individual needs.

Enjoy a live performance, children’s activities, refreshments, a raffle and a sustainable clothes swap. Bring up to three items of good-quality clothing and exchange them for up to three different items—a practical way to give clothes a new life.

Admission is free, with optional donations welcome to support the work of The Centre for Reconciliation. Cash and card donations will be available on the evening.

Come along for an inspiring evening of creativity, conversation and practical ideas for a more sustainable and connected community.
