Join us for Woven Together, a special fundraising event in support of the Centre for Reconciliation, exploring fashion, sustainability, culture and community. The event will feature a documentary screening from Kerry from Project Fashion Fixed, followed by a Q&A exploring the real impact of fast fashion on our climate and cultures. Zaib will also share her findings from researching suitable fabrics for hijabs for women experiencing cancer, offering an insight into the relationship between clothing, health, faith and individual needs. There will also be a live performance, children’s activities, a raffle and a sustainable clothes swap. Guests are invited to bring up to three items of good-quality clothing and exchange them for up to three different items — a simple way to give clothes a new life and explore sustainable fashion in practice. Tickets Standard ticket: £15 Concessionary ticket: £9 The concessionary rate is available for families with children, children and young people, and TCfR members.
