Helping Our Community Stay Clean with Dignity
Launched in September 2022, The Lincoln Hygiene Bank is a local community project dedicated to tackling hygiene poverty in Lincoln. We collect donated personal hygiene and household cleaning products, assemble them into care packs, and distribute them to individuals and families who are struggling to afford these everyday essentials.At the core of our mission is a simple belief: personal hygiene should never be a luxury.
What is Hygiene Poverty?
Hygiene poverty means not being able to afford many of the products most of us take for granted – shampoo, toothpaste, soap, period products, laundry detergent. For those living on a low income, it often comes down to difficult choices between heating, rent, food, or staying clean. No one should have to make that decision.
Where You Can Donate
We’re always expanding our network of donation points and are grateful to all those helping us. You can drop off items at any of the following locations:

- - Lincoln Central Mosque (Dixon Street): Every Saturday, 1:30pm – 3:30pm
- - RCCG The Victory Centre (Dixon Way): Third Thursday of the month, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- - Holy Cross Church (Skellingthorpe Road): Every Wednesday, 10:00am – 12:00pm
- - Central Methodist Church (High Street): Second and fourth Mondays, 10:00am – 12:00pm
- - Moorland Community Centre: First and third Wednesdays, 12:00pm – 2:00pm
