The International Society for Research on Solitude (ISRS) invites researchers, practitioners, and professionals worldwide to contribute to this unique gathering.

Keynote Speakers

  • Prof. Robert Coplan – Chancellor’s Professor, Carleton University, Canada; leading researcher on solitude, shyness, and childhood development.
  • Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche – Founder & Spiritual Director of Ligmincha Institute; internationally renowned teacher and author making Tibetan teachings accessible worldwide.

Submissions & Participation

Papers and posters welcome on solitude, silence, and loneliness, from any discipline or practice context.

Abstract submission deadline: 1 November 2025 (late registration possible if space remains).

Registration fee: approx. $200 / €176 / £148 / 750 PLN (includes participation, materials, refreshments, two lunches, and one dinner).
