
Rabbi Mark L. Solomon is Minister of the Edinburgh and Leicester Liberal Jewish communities, Senior Lecturer in Rabbinic Literature at Leo Baeck College (London), and Chair of the Beit Din of Liberal Judaism. Born in Sydney, Australia, he studied at Chabad yeshivot in Melbourne and Kfar Chabad before ordination in London in 1991. He holds an MA in Jewish Studies and has taught extensively on Talmud, Jewish law, theology, medieval philosophy, mysticism, and interfaith relations. A longstanding interfaith leader, he serves in numerous Jewish–Christian–Muslim dialogue initiatives and is co-chair of the London Society of Jews and Christians. He is editor of Covenant of Love (2005), the first Jewish liturgy for same-sex commitment ceremonies published in Britain.
Barbara is the Executive Secretary of Christians Aware. She has a background in history, with a particular interest in Christian Socialism. While living in Zambia, Barbara encountered real poverty for the first time. This experience made her realise that, on a global level, little had truly changed. When she returned home, she decided to become involved in bringing people together across cultures and countries—encouraging them to listen to one another and work collaboratively for justice and peace. Through Christians Aware, Barbara has supported and connected with people around the world. She has participated in many international visits, worked alongside numerous charities, and engaged with people of different faiths. Barbara has also edited the organisation’s magazine and published a range of books.
Rae McGrath, born in Liverpool, began his career as a Recovery Engineer with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, serving in Germany, Hong Kong, Cyprus, and Northern Ireland before leaving the army in 1985. He went on to lead humanitarian operations with Save the Children in Sudan and later founded the Mines Advisory Group (MAG), one of the world’s leading organisations clearing landmines and explosive remnants of war. A co-founder of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, Rae represented the movement when it received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. His subsequent work has spanned conflict zones across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, including leadership roles with the UN, World Vision, and Mercy Corps. Now based in Cumbria, Rae continues his advocacy and research into modern warfare, arms industries, and the social impacts of conflict
The Reverend Canon Dr Andrew Thompson MBE is an Anglican priest who previously served in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. He is currently Vicar in the Parish of Uxbridge in the London Diocese. He is the author of several books on Christianity in the Arabian Gulf and is widely respected for his experience in interfaith and cross-cultural ministry.
Martin has worked in Revenues and Benefits for 35 years across seven local authorities, joining City of Lincoln Council in 2003 and forming their shared service with North Kesteven District Council in 2011, where he remains today. He holds the full IRRV (Hons) qualification and serves as an IRRV examiner. In 2018 he received the IRRV Award for Excellence in Partnership Working for a joint holistic initiative with the DWP supporting Universal Credit customers in making and maintaining their claims

Natasha is an experienced project manager specialising in community research, analysis, and the development of solutions to enhance and expand civil society initiatives. She relaunched CSC as co-founder in 2020, committed to strengthening civil society’s contribution to UK social development. She holds two degrees from University College London (BASc and MSc), applying her advanced understanding of human behaviour and cognition to social impact work. Her experience includes four years in international development with the United Nations, professional communications work, UK parliamentary experience, and peacebuilding at the Centre for Sustainable Peace, where she analysed psychosocial characteristics and citizenship styles influencing conflict.
Sadia Akram is the Programme Director for the Forum for Discussion of Israel and Palestine (FODIP) and a recipient of the national BEDSA Award for her work bringing Jewish and Muslim women together through sport. She also serves as Director for Good Relations Oldham and is a practitioner in Conflict Awareness, Mediation, and Philosophical Enquiry. With extensive experience in civic engagement, housing governance, and interfaith community initiatives, she is committed to fostering dialogue, understanding, and positive community relations.
Rabbi Warren Elf MBE is a part-time freelance rabbi serving Southend and District Reform Synagogue since 2001, Liverpool Reform Synagogue since 2016, and currently Manchester Reform Synagogue. He is deeply committed to interfaith engagement, community cohesion, and conflict resolution, with many years of experience building positive relationships across diverse communities. A founding trustee and current Co-Chair of the Faith Network for Manchester, he is also actively involved in the Greater Manchester Faith and Belief Advisory Panel and the Forum for Discussion of Israel and Palestine. He was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2019 New Year’s Honours for his services to communities in Manchester, particularly in interfaith and community cohesion work.
Adam Linton is Project Manager at FODIP and brings extensive experience as a facilitator and mediator across diverse communities in County Down, Northern Ireland. His work has focused on grassroots programmes in interface areas and neighbourhoods impacted by both historic and emerging conflicts. Deeply interested in the dynamics of conflict and the processes of peace, he is passionate about dialogue, philosophy, and community cohesion, believing that meaningful progress grows from strong, resilient relationships and genuine mutual understanding.
Ms Sarvat Ujra Mulla has completed her MA Islamic Studies, PGC Islamic Education and PGC in Education Practice. Sarvat was a ‘Trainer’ for the Effective Teaching Skills, Special Educational Needs in Supplementary Schools and Managing an Effective Learning Environment courses for the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE), London. She has helped in developing ‘Teaching in Islamic Supplementary school’s course for the NRCSE and has developed the Professional Development programme, including Safeguarding course for staff of faith institutions as part of her work with Strengthening Faith Institutions (SFI). Currently, Sarvat is pursuing a PhD in Education, researching contribution of Muslim women in Supplementary schools.
Abdul Siddiqui is the Founder and Lead Coordinator of Active Muslim Nation, a grassroots initiative dedicated to serving the Lincolnshire community through compassion-led, practical support. His work focuses particularly on assisting individuals and families facing food insecurity and social hardship, ensuring meaningful help reaches those who need it most.
Malik Ehsan Ejaz is a Board Member and Lead Partner of Active Muslim Nation, a grassroots initiative committed to serving the Lincolnshire community through compassion-driven, practical support. His work focuses particularly on supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and social hardship, helping ensure vital assistance reaches those most in need.
Arul Little Snita S is a dedicated Research Scholar specializing in Ecocriticism and Environmental Studies and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy. Passionate about humanitarian work since her school years, she has consistently sought opportunities to serve diverse communities. Through Peace Bridge India, she began volunteering and later took on the role of Director, contributing to initiatives that address pressing needs across various communities. She remains committed to fostering responsible reflection and bringing together people of different faiths in pursuit of a more compassionate and united future.
MK Ramasubbu served as Panchayat President of Chinthamani Village in Tirunelveli District for ten years, leading impactful community development initiatives. He organized large-scale tree plantation drives distributing over 5,000 saplings, conducted free health camps benefiting more than 20,000 people across 10 village panchayats, and arranged veterinary camps serving around 10,000 cattle. In recognition of his service, he received the Nirmal Gram Puraskar from the President of India, the Clean Village Award under the Swachh Bharat Scheme, and appreciation from the Managing Director of TVS Group. He currently serves as a Director at PeaceBridge India, continuing his commitment to social and community development.
