You’re warmly invited to The Centre for Reconciliation Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Saturday 20th January 2024. It is an opportunity to join us to show your support to the work of TCfR, an interfaith organisation for the county of Greater Lincolnshire, to learn about our work, hear updates and celebrate the past year, meet our Board and new Board members and to hear talks on Peace and Reconciliation from Imam Hassan Selby and Carole Glover.

Peace and Reconciliation – towards a Ahmadiyya Muslim community Understanding’

Imam Hassan Selby, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for Lincolnshire and Humberside.


Imam Hassan from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for Lincolnshire and Humberside and has been stationed in Scunthorpe for the past 7 years where the community has recently built a new Mosque. He is serving as the youth leader for the young boys of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for Yorkshire.


'Peace and Reconciliation, lived experience of Carole Glover from Bosnia -a  Brahma Kumaris Understanding'

Carole Glover, fine artist, teacher of Positive Thinking and Brahma Kumaris Chaplain

Carole primary focus was Fine Art until 1994, since becoming involved in a peace group in the conflict in Yugoslavia, her attention was been re directed towards world peace. Her specific interest is in healing the emotional wounds of victims of war violence.

This change of direction brought her to the Brahma Kumaris in 1996 and in 1997 she became a teacher of ‘Positive thinking’ and additional spiritual approaches to healing both human hearts and this world in which we live.


Parking 

Onsite and offsite free parking available. The Hall is beside the Church. If you are coming via Triton road on the Skellingthorpe road on the signal take left coming from Lincoln and the Church is about 100 yards on the left and you can enter via main and back entrance.
